Presidential Puppets: A Skeptical Analysis of Power, Compromise, and the Promise of a Righteous Future

In the grand theater of American politics, the stage is set and the curtains rise. Enter the actors: Biden, Trump, DeSantis, Kennedy Jr. To the casual observer, they appear as distinct individuals, each with their own unique ideologies and campaign narratives.

However, a closer examination reveals a startling truth: they are not free agents, but rather puppets in a much larger play, orchestrated by unseen hands.

The Bible speaks of “principalities and powers” (Ephesians 6:12), forces of influence and control that operate behind the scenes. According to the Scriptures, these entities, aligned with Satan, manipulate the world’s affairs. However, the Bible also assures us that the King of Glory, Jesus Christ, has already secured the ultimate victory, promising an age of righteous governance during His millennial reign.

The “principalities and powers” in our modern context could be interpreted as the oligarchs, bloodlines, and institutions that form the upper echelons of society. These entities exert significant influence over the systems of our world, shaping narratives and dictating the limits of permissible action for those beneath them in the hierarchy of power.

Biden, Trump, DeSantis, and Kennedy Jr. sit one level above us in this pyramid of power, yet they remain multiple layers below the true puppeteers. Their platforms are mere veneers, carefully crafted to sell ideas that fit within the pre-approved narratives. This phenomenon becomes especially apparent when we consider their campaign promises.

Biden, branded as a 100% puppet, is a classic example of a figurehead. He serves as a mouthpiece for the powers that be, his actions guided by unseen hands. Trump, with his rallying cry of “draining the swamp,” promises to challenge the status quo. Yet, the so-called swamp is not merely a group of corrupt politicians; it is a complex network of forces serving the Enemy, the lowercase ‘g’ god of this world, an imposter masquerading as the divine. Thus, Trump’s promise, while appealing, is ultimately unattainable within his limited sphere of influence.

The newer candidates, DeSantis and Kennedy Jr., brand themselves as “Pro-Bitcoin.” This clever marketing strategy is designed to lure libertarians, creating the illusion of support for radical monetary change. However, they can only advocate for this reform because it aligns with the permitted narrative, not because they possess any real power to effect such change.

All four candidates are bound by the same restrictions. They can only promise change within the confines of their assigned narratives, echoing the words they’ve been permitted to speak. The policies they propose are not of their own volition but are crafted by the principalities and powers above them. They are compromised individuals, their potential for genuine leadership constrained by the chains of the system.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:2 that Satan, the prince of the power of the air, controls the children of disobedience. These presidential candidates, like all of us, are susceptible to this influence. They are entangled in a web of power and control, their every move dictated by the forces of darkness.

However, amidst the deception and corruption, there is hope. Jesus Christ, the King of Glory, has already sealed the fate of the puppeteers controlling the strings. As Revelation 20:10 prophecies, Satan and his minions will be cast into the lake of fire, facing eternal punishment. In the aftermath, Christ will establish a righteous government, marking the beginning of His millennial reign.

In the face of these daunting principalities and powers, we should not be disheartened. Instead, we should remember that we are not alone in this fight. God is with us, and He has already won the victory. As the Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 11:14, “And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” But we know the truth. We know who the true Light is, and that Light has already overcome the darkness.

In conclusion, while it may seem that these presidential candidates and elected officials wield immense power, they are merely pieces on a chessboard, manipulated by unseen hands. Their promises of change, of a better tomorrow, are bound by the limitations imposed upon them by the forces they serve. However, their power is transient and their reign temporary. The true King, Jesus Christ, has already determined their fate, and He will establish a righteous government in His time. Until then, we must remain steadfast in our faith, not swayed by the deceitful words of those who serve the prince of this world, but looking forward to the promise of a new dawn under the rule of the King of Glory.

Gold Breakout: Iran’s Atomic Point of No Return

When Trump gave the most de-globalized U.N. speech in decades (2018), it was a big deal and paved the way to Americans exiting the Middle East, which continues to this day.

      Hello, RTD.
Thank you for this well-written post.
I agree that all the world’s a stage and that the actors are just playing their roles.
Hope can only be placed in the one who built the theater – The Most High God.
We have a sure foundation that cannot be moved, while the world staggers to and fro like a drunkard.

Nevertheless, we are in this place at this time for a reason.
So, I ask: “What shall we do to be saved?”
It’s obvious that we are not going to restore our former glory because we will not repent.
It’s also obvious that the enemy has all the levers of this world in his control.

I have believing friends who say “touch not the unclean thing” and “don’t get entangled with the affairs of this life” and “resist not evil” – Basically telling me to let everyone and everything go to hell.
That does not sit well with me.
Everything in me wants to stand against the enemy.
He must know that there is still a remnant who will not bow to him.

      Your thoughts?

Hello Ronald. Thanks for telling me what you think about the post. At first glance, it may seem hopeless, given how things are right now. I struggle with the same kinds of questions and ideas. But as Christians, we were told what to expect as Christ’s return gets closer. In the next few years, the world will go through a lot of big changes, and the KING has given us a “Great Commission” to help. Even though there are doubters and skeptics, we must always share the “GOOD NEWS” (Luke 9:1-2). This lets us work with the Father to save as many souls as possible. We don’t have to change the world. All we have to do is do what God has asked us to do and be true to his plan. This should help… It really helped me a lot.
